Medical Surgical Professional Nursing II

This course expands on critical thinking associated with the role of the Professional Nurse in the care of clients experiencing complex, multi-system, and acute conditions. Students will apply evidence-based practices for the treatment and recovery of diverse patients across the lifespan. Integrated within the course is the application of advanced disease processes associated with body-system conditions.  The use of pharmaceuticals and alternative treatment modalities are included as they apply to emergency care, oncology, post-operative management, and end-of-life care.
