Let’s Build! While working on a wood construction project you will learn the foundational principles of safe construction of wood structures, material sourcing , processing, tool functions, tool and equipment safety and production. This course is free for those who work or live in Pine County!
This is a for-credit course, and you must apply to the college prior to registering. Please go to www.pine.edu/apply to complete an application. Select the following: Spring 2022 Semester, Certificate program, and Nursing Assistant as your major.
Once you have completed your application, please email Di Abrahamsen at dianna.abrahamsen@pine.edu to advise your application has been submitted for the Workfast Certified Nursing Assistant Course & Clinical. We will process your application and advise if you are accepted to the program.

Intended for police offiders, firefighters, and other public safety personnel, this Emergency Medical Responder Initial course provides instruction in emergency medial care at the scene of an accident or a medical emergency. Includes patient assessment; CPR; airway management including oxygen; adjunct airways and other resuscitation; equipment; medical emergenices including seizuers, strokes, heart attacks and poisonings; trauma management; bandaging; splinting; and spinal immobilization. Students will be certified uplong completion through the Minnesota Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board. This course is a pathway to PTCC's Emergency Medical Servics Professional program.
Seating is on a first come frst serve basis. A waitlist will be avaialbe once all seats are taken. This course is for college credit and you must apply to the college.
