Pine Technical and Community College Scholarships
The following scholarships are available through Pine Technical and Community College. You may only be awarded one of these scholarships per year.
Pine County College Initiative
Covers two years of tuition for students and up to $1,000 for books, tools, and supplies.
Eligibility:
- Graduates from East Central High School, Harvest Christian High School, Hinckley-Finlayson High School, Moose Lake High School (Pine County residents only), Willow River High School, or home schools within Pine County.
Frandsen Family Foundation
Covers two years of tuition for students and up to $1,000 for books, tools, and supplies. Students must attend college the semester following receipt of High School diploma.
Eligibility:
- Graduate from Braham, Frederic, Luck, Pine City, or Rush City
Kick Start
Covers one year of tuition and up to a $1,000 for books, supplies, and tools. Students must attend college the semester following receipt of High School diploma.
Eligibility:
- Graduate from Braham, Chisago Lakes, East Central, Hinckley-Finlayson, Isle, Mora, North Branch, or Ogilvie, Pine City, Rush City, and Willow River
- Family met the income guidelines for the Free and Reduced School Meal program during the student's senior year
Workforce Development
Eligibility:
- Minnesota resident
- Students must be enrolled by June 1, 2022 in a PTCC high growth, high demand programs in one of the following disciplines: Advanced Manufacturing, Automotive Technology, Construction Technology, Early Childhood Education, Health Care Sciences or Information Technology
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credits

Bridging the Dream
The Bridging the Dream scholarship awards up to $1,250 for full-time students and up to $750 for part-time students.
Eligibility:
- Must be a new or returning PTCC students with a declared major or partnership program
- Registered for a minimum of 12 credits for full-time award and a minimum of 6 credits for part-time award
- Must submit responses to 2 essay questions and provide a recent letter of recommendation
- Submit applications between March 15 and July 15, 2022
- Applications will be reviewed on April 15, June 15 and July 15

Pine Technical and Community College (PTCC) offers many scholarships for students seeking financial assistance to pay for college. If you are not eligible for a PTCC scholarship and do not meet the specific criteria, there are a wide variety of external scholarships that are offered from organizations to support those seeking a degree and education!
