Automated Systems Technology Provides Real World Learning

In this program, you will be introduced to both electrical and mechanical systems and learn how they work together. You will focus on building a foundation of knowledge in AC and DC Electricity, Fluid Power Systems, Mechanical Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Motor Controls and Robotics.

  • Pine's Automated Systems Technology program will utilize technology and tools that you'll find in the industry.

Career Outlook for Graduates

Students enrolled in the Automated Systems Technology program will be able to develop both the technical skills and soft skills by working on projects by themselves, within groups and learning their part in the bigger picture. 

  • Career paths include Maintenance Technician, Electrical Technician, Controls Technician, and a Robotics Technician. 
  • The median hourly wage for Automation Technicians is $22.76.
  • The average salary reported to payscale.com in 2017 was $54,000.
